We may collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, university or institution, participant type, university or employee identifier, college or department, workshop selections, referral source, promotion-code use, notes, payment status, support enquiries, and technical information needed to operate the website.
2. How we use information. We use personal data to process registrations and payments, deliver workshops and services, send schedule or access information, provide support, maintain financial and operational records, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
3. Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe or another authorized payment provider. We do not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes on this website.
4. Service providers. Information may be processed by service providers used to host the website, process payments, maintain registration records, and communicate with participants. They receive only the information reasonably needed for those functions.
5. Eligibility verification. Where an institution-restricted discount is used, relevant registration details may be verified with that institution. University or employee identifiers are encrypted in our registration database and are not sent to Stripe metadata.
6. Sharing and sale. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, to verify restricted eligibility, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
7. Retention. Registration, payment, and communication records may be retained for operational, accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes, and deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably needed.
8. Data security. We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect personal information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your requests. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
